Eric Campbell spent his life collecting evil artifacts from around the world that must be kept under lock and key to keep the world safe. But now he's dead. When a mysterious woman, claiming to be his grandfather's lawyer, and her creepy henchmen deliver Trevor's "inheritance" and then disappear, Trevor gets an uneasy feeling. Opening the dingy old box reveals the mysterious puzzle box that fascinated and terrified him as a child, along with a strange note from his grandfather. Accidentally opened, the puzzle box begins spewing unimaginable nightmares. Math wiz and puzzle connoisseur, Trevor better solve this particular puzzle before the students and staff at his exclusive boys' school end up dead. With his good friend, Wren, the school's gargoyles, and some of his classmates, Trevor is in a race against time.
