Who would think that a series of bad decisions would result in you being homeless, jobless and loveless? Not Ellen, who jumps into every idea full of optimism and hope. Fortunately, Ellen has great taste in dogs. Adopting a rescue brings her to the small town of Vermillion Creek, where she sets aside her dream of owning an art gallery for a job with unusual expectations.
