Bol She closes the books of the dead. One book refuses to close. The Library of Possible Endings holds a living book for everyone who died with their story unresolved. Elara Voss writes the one final chapter the living can bear. Then she is assigned a book that rewrites her in return: every ending she drafts for it edits her own memories. Closure was supposed to be a service. It becomes a negotiation with a life that will not stay finished. A literary fantasy of institutional grief, books about books, and the archivist who discovers that endings are never free. For readers of library fantasy, speculative grief novels, and stories where memory is a workplace hazard. From the LPH98.lifestyle imprint - The Otherwise Novels
