On Hoken's trip to earth, you will meet the Septadians, the seven-fingers, the most powerful society in the galaxy, whose intelligence is determined by their finger patterns, who saved Hoken from the militaristic, semi-barbarian Grog, and find out that Europa, one of the Galilean moons of Jupiter, is teeming with life. Hoken barely makes it to Earth, with just thirty hours before the appointed time of when he is to eliminate Rennedee. Although hints are given from almost the beginning, only on the final pages do you find out the identities of Human #1 and Human #2. Aliens have changed our history in ways you could never imagine.
