Vera Adjin was no stranger to that, as the author had to walk around 8 miles round trip to fetch for water. The author would attend elementary school in 1965, migrate to USA and attend college there. This move eventually concluded with a Bachelor degree in Nursing from a university in New Jersey.About the BookAct of Kindness is a book that is dedicated to all those generous people that go through the worse troubles just for one person. The author wants to reflect a story to all those people that are those rare gemstones who are capable of changing other people's lives. The story of the book revolves around two characters, V and Cassandra. V was a broken person, but still adamant of being honest and kind, was in search of light. That is when she met Cassandra - a stranger who turned out to be a blessing and earned the title of 'Godsend'.
