The ABCs of Tile Setting

From A to Z, this playful alphabet book turns the craft of tile setting into a story kids can enjoy and grown-ups in the trade will instantly recognize. Each letter introduces a real concept from the world of tile installation, from Alignment and Bullnose Tile to the Wet Saw, eXpansion Joints, and of course a focus on Zero Lippage. Along the way, young readers will meet Ceramic tiles, Herringbone Patterns, trusty Knee Pads, the ever-important Level, and the Yellow Sponge that cleans it all up. With simple language, colorful illustrations, and witty nods to jobsite realities, it is a fast, fun read that doubles as a surprisingly thorough tour of the tile setter's toolkit. Perfect as a gift for tile setters, contractors, and anyone who has ever debated Thin Set versus Quick Set Mortar, this is an ABCs book with just enough shop talk to make you smile.
