The 25 Prophets in Islam: Their Lives and Legacy

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. ABout the Book I am a father of three children, entrusted with one of the greatest responsibilities a person can carry - the upbringing of young hearts and minds. Like many parents, I have often reflected on the kind of guidance I wish to provide my children: guidance that is rooted in faith, clarity, and a deep connection to our tradition as Sunni Muslims. Throughout this journey, I found myself searching for a simple, reliable, and comprehensive resource - something that could introduce my children and others like them, to the noble Prophets of Islam. I wanted a book that would not overwhelm, but instead gently guide; a book that would present the lives of the Prophets in a way that is accessible, authentic, and spiritually enriching. However, I repeatedly encountered a gap. The information was often scattered across multiple sources, or written in ways that were either too complex or too limited in scope. This book is my humble attempt to fill that gap. Within these pages, you will find an introduction to the twenty-five Prophets mentioned in the Qur'an. Each section offers a glimpse into their lives, their struggles, their call to faith, their character, and the lessons we can carry into our own lives. Alongside these narratives, I have included references to where their stories can be found in the Qur'an through specific Sarah's and Ayat¿s as well as relevant Hadith¿s where applicable. My intention is to create a bridge between storytelling and source material, allowing readers to both learn and explore further. This is not a scholarly work, nor does it aim to replace the rich and vast tradition of Islamic scholarship. Rather, it is a starting point a doorway for families, for parents like myself, and for young readers who seek to understand the legacy of the Prophets in a clear and meaningful way. I wrote this book for my children, so they may grow up knowing the names, stories, and values of the Prophets who came before us. I share it with you in the hope that it may serve your family as well, bringing benefit, reflection, and a deeper connection to our deen. May Allah accept this effort, forgive any shortcomings, and make it a source of guidance for those who read it.
