The decision to produce sixty chapters for a single month reflects the intensity of political developments during April 2026. The aftermath of the October 2025 general election continued to shape institutional trust and public discourse. The long-awaited Chande Commission report on post-election violence remained withheld, becoming a symbol of executive discretion over public truth. Meanwhile, negotiations between CCM and ACT Wazalendo over Zanzibar's Government of National Unity exposed tensions between constitutional formality and substantive power-sharing.
