Bol 'I have done it! I have cleared my own mind! I can feel it fading now. I must write this quickly before I forget it was even true. It's fading fast. I followed the little man's instructions and I have said the correct words in the correct ways - only a few years ago, I would have thought this all nonsense - and I believe it has worked. The memories, the visions fade from my mind quickly, even as I write. The words, too, in the dread, horrid manuscript have faded. They no longer appear on the pages. I can still feel them - feel him there - but they are not there. Soon I won't even feel them. Their memory will be gone...' Tales Vol. 1: In the Wake of the King collects some of the horror fiction by Shawn M. Tomlinson into pocketbook form. The collection is part of an ongoing project to gather all of Tomlinson's fiction into unified volumes.
