Taking a closer look at Weiz's labour market integration measures

This book provides an overview of the support services available to young people as they transition from the familiar world of school to the world of work. It begins by describing the situation facing young people, before going on to outline transition management and highlighting the resources and challenges involved. Social pedagogy plays a key role in this context and offers a range of guidance frameworks. The research carried out is then presented in a clear and accessible manner. Qualitative research was conducted in the form of an online survey of the organisations involved, as well as a survey of the young people themselves. The findings identify which organisations in the Weiz district are active in the field of labour market integration and what approaches they employ. Furthermore, the transition phase for young people is analysed and support options are highlighted.
