Tabor to Calvary: Journey the Homeland

Just as Our Lord journeyed from the glory of Mount Tabor to the agony of Mount Calvary, so must every follower of Christ. Victor Taylor's Tabor came in twenty radiant minutes of clinical death, where he encountered the overwhelming presence and love of God. His Calvary unfolded over grueling years with stage-four melanoma - through a brain tumor bleed that stole his vision. In the terror of that darkness, the crucified Lord appeared beside him and conquered his fear. After fifty-eight years of trust, he chose to be patient. There Victor discovered the difference between the two thieves. One demanded, "If you are God, get me off this cross." The other simply said, "Remember me." He learned the truth that this world is not our permanent home. We will never be fully comfortable here. Yet we are never alone. God walks with us every step of the journey - from Tabor to Calvary - turning our suffering into sacred companionship with His Passion, Death, and Resurrection.
