Sweet Surprises: and other short stories (very large print)

Easy-on-the-eye very large print. Does Raffaella's prospective husband only send half-length photos because he has something to hide? How can Don Pericle help a bride who's too shy to walk down the aisle? While Giovanna entrusts her search for a love match to pheromones and Melina despairs about Tanino being stuck at home with her, a donkey saves the day for a farmer's neighbours and the class's naughty boy turns over a new leaf thanks to a misunderstanding. Ten heart-warming and humorous short stories full of sweet surprises, twists and happy endings, perfect as a bedtime read. Also available in ebook and smaller print paperback I loved reading about these very likeable characters as they get caught up in misunderstandings. I could totally relate! And though there are consequences to the confusions, they are not always what you think they will be, and each story ends with a satisfying demonstration of human kindness. Very uplifting! - Sandy Salisbury
