International migration has had a profound impact on the economic and social trajectory of the DRC. Every year, thousands of Congolese living abroad plan to return home voluntarily, bringing with them new experiences, skills and aspirations. However, without appropriate support, this return can turn into a hardship, or even an economic and social failure. Accompagner les projets des migrants congolais de retour volontaire en RDC proposes an innovative and pragmatic approach to reintegration through entrepreneurship. Drawing on field experience, existing institutional mechanisms - notably the OFII-CNPE program - and an in-depth analysis of Congolese realities, this book demonstrates that returning migrants can become economic players in their own right, provided they evolve within a structured and professionalized framework. Both a work of reflection and an operational manual, this book provides Business Creation Advisors, public institutions and technical and financial partners with proven methodologies and concrete tools to support returnees at every stage of their journey.
