Structurally Insulated Panels Design

To date there are no known textbooks which offer comprehensive guidance for structural design of structurally insulated panels (SIPs) for practicing engineers and students. In the UK engineers rely on available data and calculations derived largely from first principles for composite, stressed skin analysis. This book brings together design friendly methods of structural analysis, drawn from test data, classic analytical techniques and published papers. Book Website: Examples have been derived from projects in which the author was involved; ranging from domestic self-build houses, garden offices, schools and cladding support on framed buildings. Calculation outlines in the book may be adapted to design standards from other countries; particularly those which use SI metric unit.
