Structural Ghazal

Structural Ghazal presents twenty-six original compositions that extend the recursive architecture of the ghazal beyond conventional refrain and lexical repetition. Drawing upon ecological, geological, atmospheric, acoustic, optical, biological, and cosmological phenomena, the collection develops recurrent structures through transformation, redistribution, oscillation, concealment, threshold behavior, structural correspondence, and recursive return.Rather than proceeding through narrative progression or symbolic substitution, the poems operate through materially grounded relational systems. Refrains may appear explicitly, behaviorally, acoustically, syntactically, structurally, or through transformed continuities that persist across altered states. Meaning emerges through arrangement, compression, correspondence, and environmental interaction rather than allegory or resolution.Across deserts, galaxies, frost formations, volcanic systems, tidal environments, acoustic resonances, eclipses, and biological transformations, recurrent patterns migrate through changing conditions while maintaining structural identity. Objects are treated not as symbols but as active participants within relational fields shaped by pressure, fracture, reflection, suspension, modulation, and persistence.Structural Ghazal introduces a compositional approach in which recurrence remains tied to observable transformation. The refrain does not merely repeat. It survives through altered forms.
