Stars and Stripes Submission

In the sunlit lecture halls of a coastal university, sharp-tongued professor Mia Salerno builds her career dismantling the myths of American power. When a wealthy alumnus funds a private wellness retreat, she finds herself drawn into sessions led by a calm hypnotherapist on a sprawling ranch. What begins as simple relaxation soon weaves patriotic imagery and subtle suggestions into her thoughts, stirring unexpected conflicts between her fierce independence and a growing pull toward obedience. As Mia navigates the tension between her intellectual convictions and the magnetic presence of the ranch's commanding owner, her world shifts in ways she never anticipated. This slow-burn tale explores deep character transformation, ideological surrender, and the intoxicating allure of power dynamics in a setting where every choice carries emotional weight and lasting consequences.
