Deze live-set van Thunder bevat alle grote hits van de band, klassieke fan-favorieten als *'Backstreet Symphony, Low Life In High Places'* en *'Love Walked In'* en nummers van het studioalbum *'Rip It Up'*, waaronder de titeltrack en *'She Likes The Cocaine'*. *'Stage'* werd op 24 maart 2017 opgenomen in de Cardiff Motorpoint Arena en verschijnt als 2CD plus Blu-ray, 3LP, DVD, Blu-ray en limited edition boxset. Zowel de DVD als de Blu-ray bevatten een schat aan bonusmateriaal, waaronder interviews met de leden, terwijl in de boxset ook een DVD zit met daarop *'Live At The 100 Club'*, de akoestische show *'29 Minutes Later'* (die voorheen alleen als Record Store Day release beschikbaar was) en de documentaire *'A Difficult Day In January: Thunder In London'*. Over *'Stage'* zegt voorman Danny Bowes: '‘The Rip It Up'* album was so well received, it was no surprise the tour was brilliant too. We decided to include a Cardiff Motorpoint Arena show on the tour, purely because it was so good when we played there with Journey & Whitesnake in 2013. Capturing it as well turned out to be one of our better decisions, because the resulting film and album are a shining example of an organic coming together of fans and a band. We’ve released a few live recordings over the years, but this is most definitely up there with the best of them. We're extremely pleased with it.’*
