Nurcan, Reza and Katharina want to join in the blockage of a coal pit. The teenagers are determined, together with many others. But they do not know what they expect this weekend. The story is excellently worked out didactically: it is written in the language level A2 and divided into five chapters. In addition to the flowing text, the narrative is presented in different forms of text such as a short message conversation, lists or a diary entry. As a reading support for DaZ learners, important words are displayed on a picture page before each chapter, in the footnotes there is a glossary with up to five explained words on each page and after each chapter you can check the read with comprehension questions. […] In my opinion, the strength of the text is its up-to-date, because the discussion of the structural change of the coal mining region around Leipzig is not only present, but especially important for the future.
