St. Panther - East Side Love Story (Sangria) (LP)

Occam XIII, Occam River XI, Occam V is a 2 LP release of contemporary classical and experimental minimalist music by Éliane Radigue. It presents three late acoustic works from her Occam cycle, performed by Dafne Vicente-Sandoval on bassoon and Charles Curtis on cello. The music develops through sustained tones, subtle shifts in timbre, and carefully balanced resonances, creating an immersive and meditative listening experience. Released in 2026, the album reflects Radigue’s transition from electronic composition toward intimate acoustic collaborations. Its sparse textures and gradual transformations emphasize the natural character of the instruments, while the long-form structures encourage deep, uninterrupted listening. The performances reveal a finely controlled interaction between breath, bowing, resonance, and silence, placing the album within Radigue’s distinctive approach to drone, minimalism, and contemporary chamber music.
