Spectres and Sandwiches: Mpreg Contemporary Ghost Stories: 2

Xander O'Doul is a simple hotel cook. He's not a ghost hunter or an adventurer, so he's pretty pissed when he begins a renovation on his old house, and ghost issues pop up where he's never had any before. And yes, one of his best friends is married to the head of a TV ghost hunting team, but if he asks them for help, he's borrowing even more trouble. Trouble in the form of a hot, blue-haired nerd named Iago. Iago Harris is the main researcher for the ghost hunting team he works for, and it really hurts his feelings when Xander compares him to an over-eager puppy. So he decides to stay away from Xander. Until he can't. Xander's haunt takes all of his team resources, and when the grumpy cook comes into his orbit one too many times, he learns Xander is trying to keep him at arm's length because the man is on fire for him. As they explore what's going on at Xander's house, they also fall for each other, and when Iago gets in a family way, they have to navigate combining their lives as well as figuring out why Xander's house is fighting them every step of the way. Can they solve the ghost mystery in time for their baby to have a safe place to live, or will it all fall apart before they even get a good beginning together? Spectres is a grumpy/sunshine mpreg with lots of nosy friends, tons of soup, and a house that really wants to tell them something...
