Sparking Empathy Through Literature: How Engaged Reading Can Open Minds and Inspire Action

In a time marked by division and biases, this study explores how literature affirms empathy as a dynamic force in human affairs. Through close readings of works that dramatize injustice and moral conflict, it examines the varied circumstances in which empathy can move beyond sentiment to motivate meaningful, concrete action.
