Sophion, Uncle Humph and The Third Glorious Song

Sophion(TM), Uncle Humph(TM) and The Third Glorious Song(TM)Sometimes waiting is hard.Uncle Humph knows this. Even after Jesse the Chief Steward(TM) promises that Brother Songs(TM) will come, the creatures of the Kadayawan Valley must still wait, pray, remember, sing-and hope. Then, with a Mighty Whew, everything changes.Brother Songs arrives not as one song, one note, one language, or one kind of creature, but as a great harmony of different gifts joined together in a beautiful Fire of Hope. Suddenly neighbors and strangers alike discover that what they have freely received can be freely given-and that gifts shared for the good of others have a curious way of growing rather than running out.In Sophion, Uncle Humph and The Third Glorious Song, young readers, families, teachers, grandparents, and Story Stewards are invited into a playful tale about generosity, belonging, service, music, hope, and the surprising things that happen when people stop keeping their gifts entirely to themselves.Because one spark can start a fire. One song can inspire another. One neighbor can help another. And receiving may only be the beginning of giving.Like every book in The Mabuhay Stories, this is an interactive story meant to be read aloud and illuminated by YOU. Add your own pictures. Color the characters. Share the Story. Sing along. And discover what your own particular gifts might add to the Kadayawan Valley-wherever your valley may be.Mabuhay!
