Socio-Political Action and the Imperative for Change in DRC: DE

This work comprises a thesis and two academic articles. The first chapter analyzes the nature of the Congolese state in practice. Reviewing the design and implementation of public policies under the political regime that emerged from the 2006 elections, it analyzes the obstacles encountered in their implementation. The second chapter provides a socio-political analysis of the behavior of key actors during the election campaign and the motivations of voters in choosing one candidate over another in the November 28, 2011, election. The third chapter analyzes the facts and phenomena surrounding the Congolese political scene. It outlines the imperative for change in the DRC and explores the theories of several authors who have influenced contemporary politics. This analysis is rich in explanations and illustrations drawn, in the best cases, from the political realities of the DRC.
