The aim of this book is to study how socio-economic management control contributes to modernizing the management of public organizations in the context of the Moroccan public sector, using two case studies. The results of the intra-case analysis highlight the contributions of socio-economic management to improving economic and social performance: the introduction of trust-based management, the regeneration of social dialogue, the enhancement of human capital, the sharing of strategic and operational steering, the introduction of dynamic management, and improved decision-making.Thus, the inter-case analysis shows other preconditions for the implementation of socio-economic management control. They are factors in the success of the socio-economic management modernization project in public organizations, particularly in the context of the Moroccan public sector.
