Small Town School is presented in three parts. Part One describes teaching both in the US, in Vermont, and in the small-town of Wilmington, Vermont during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Part Two describes the four major construction projects of Wilmington's Central/High School: 1899, 1930, 1955, and 1981.
