Ananya: For me, writing poems has been my 'haven' since l was in class 6. Whenever I felt an emotion which I could not explain to others or sometimes, even to myself, I chose to write it down. For instance, if I ever felt a negative emotion... by the time I would finish my poem, I would have forgotten that feeling of negativity. All my feelings turned into the words of my poems. Till now l had been keeping most of my poems to myself, seeing them as something not as valuable to others. But it is due to some of my family members and my co-author, that l decided to share these feelings with you all.Snehili: A poem is not just a bunch of words. It expresses the fears, anxiety, love and hope of the writer. Writing was an escape from the sleepless nights l had. Maybe the things I write are not understood by others or maybe some can take it in another way. They might seem hard to understand for many but the truth is... they have a relatable feeling to them.
