This book is an illustrated guide to skin diseases seen in the early years of a person's life. Although its emphasis is on childhood disorders, the book covers those disorders arising in childhood and early adolescence (up to the mid-teens). The text mainly discusses the most common cutaneous problems, but rarer congenital syndromes are also included, as well as a chapter about psychological issues, which is of particular importance in this age group.
