Skade

For a thousand years, Saga has been the Unmaker-a reluctant executioner tasked with hunting her own kind. Her lonely duty is her entire existence, a shield of ice forged to protect a heart she thought long dead. But her world is shattered by the arrival of Scar, a charismatic and powerful rebel who doesn't play by the old rules. He sees not a weapon, but an equal, and his audacious plans for their kind-and for her-ignite a dangerous, unwelcome spark.Caught between her ancient masters and a revolutionary who promises freedom, Saga is drawn into a deadly dance of wills. Their attraction is a fatal fire, a connection forbidden by the very curse that binds them, one that promises both salvation and ruin. She was forged to be an ending, but he may just be her beginning.
