Sizzy just wants to be normal. That's all. But his name is Sizzy. And he lives in a small gambling town in the middle of a desert. In a trailer park. Is that normal? And Sizzy's mom? She homeschools him. (And she's not the sharpest tool in the shed.) Friends? Zero. Unless you count a seven-year-old mouthy girl and a thirty-one-year-old man who is, shall we say, different. A normal life, that's all Sizzy's ever wanted. To have a normal twelve-year-old life and do normal twelve-year-old things. Like play. Not have a job. Like the job his mom gets him cleaning the casino swimming pool.
