Sharing the Gospel with Latter-day Saints: A Practical Guide for Missouri Baptists

The booklet is designed to help Missouri Baptists, and other evangelical Christians, engage Mormons - members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - in gospel conversations. Latter-day Saints gladly talk about Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the gospel, and eternal life, but they define these terms differently than evangelical Christians do. Mormons often make wonderful neighbors and loyal friends. And they're sincere in their faith. So, it's important to hold a basic understanding of LDS beliefs and practices, and learn how to respond in a caring, non-confrontational way. Each chapter of this booklet ends with questions for personal or group study. Keep in mind that it isn't good enough to have a high opinion of Jesus, as our Mormon friends do. We must properly answer the question Jesus asked in Matthew 16: "Who do you say that I am?"
