Shalanitawu captures the mystically haunting visual illustration and poetic verse of primal voices past, present, and future. Internationally recognized artist and poet, Virginia Maria Romero and Keith Wilson, shared a fascination with the harsh, yet hauntingly beautiful New Mexico landscape. Shalanitawu is more than an observation and documentation of the land and its inhabitants; it is a demonstration of how this enchanted land shaped their artistry and their works resulting in this collaboration and tribute.
