In 1932 - Pittsburgh's Hill District was the center of the negro baseball universe. Gus Greenlee was opening his stadium Greenlee Field and assembling his Pittsburgh Crawfords, a dream team of the league's luminaries: Josh Gibson, "Cool Papa" Bell and Satchel Paige.
