Set Apart: Chapter Two: Learning to Stand

Set Apart: Chapter Two: Learning to Stand continues a memoir journey shaped by faith, responsibility, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going when life does not unfold the way you expected. In these pages, Dr. Tracy Ross reflects on the years when adulthood arrived early and perseverance became more than a concept. She writes with honesty about motherhood, work, waiting, and the lessons that form a person when progress feels slow and support feels inconsistent. This chapter is about growing up in real time and learning how to stay committed to what matters, even when affirmation is absent.Learning to Stand is not a polished highlight reel. It is a testimony of becoming. It is for the reader who has had to carry more than they felt ready for, and still chose to move forward. It is for anyone learning how to trust God with their pace, their process, and their story.
