Bol The objective of this book is to demonstrate the incorporation of the pyro-phototronic effect to improve the performance metrics of a self-powered photodetector without compromising the selectivity. Pyroelectric materials like ZnO QDs and CdSe QDs are used for the fabrication of spectrum-selective self-powered photodetectors. The integration of CdSe QDs with organic material such as PQT-12, has also been explored. This combination is further inclined towards low-temperature processing and can be utilized in flexible electronics. An equivalent circuit has also been proposed for pyro-phototronic effect-enhanced self-powered photodetectors.
