San Soloman- Trusting Tenley

Brad Mathews swore he'd never risk his heart again. The firefighter has been stuck in grief since his fiancée's death, going through the motions and only feeling alive on the front lines. So when he's pulled off active duty and forced to help with a city recruitment project, it feels like one more thing being taken from him. Enter Tenley Hughes-bold, relentless, and completely unimpressed by his brooding attitude. She's determined to make the event a success, even if it means going head-to-head with the department's most stubborn firefighter. They clash instantly. Sparks fly just as fast. But somewhere between the arguments, late nights, and undeniable chemistry, Tenley starts breaking through the walls Brad swore would never come down. And for the first time in years, he wonders if moving on doesn't mean letting go-it means risking everything again.
