Sailing the 7C's of Biblical Hermeneutics: A Simple Approach to Interpreting Bible

Biblical hermeneutics is the study of the principles, rules, and methods used to interpret the Bible. While this book doesn't replace a class on biblical hermeneutics, it does simplify this discipline by boiling it down to 7 things: Content, Context, Communication, Comparison, Contrast, Commentary, and Christ. After over thirty years of full time pastoral ministry, it's this author's experience, if a student of the Bible consistently applies these seven things to their study of scripture, they'll develop into a solid Bible interpreter. The 7C's discussed in this book can help the Bible student critique what their hearing on social media, while at the same time, illustrate how difficult it is to get an interpretation of the Bible to align with all 7C's, thus, demonstrating the need to show grace to those who interpret somethings differently.
