Sage's Sunrise Stretch

Sage's Sunrise Stretch >Some days feel like sunshine. Some days feel like dust storms. Sage knows all about both. Six-year-old Sage lives in the Arizona desert with her mom and her pet tortoise Om, who, for the record, is extremely good at the lying-still parts of yoga. Every morning, Sage rolls out of bed and onto her purple yoga mat before her feet even find her fuzzy cactus slippers. But not every day goes smoothly. Sometimes the world gets too loud, feelings get too big, and everything swirls like a desert dust storm. When that happens, Sage knows just what to do - breathe deep, stretch tall like a saguaro, and find the gentle breeze hiding inside the storm. With whimsical ink and watercolor illustrations and a story full of heart, humor, and one magnificently still tortoise, Sage's Sunrise Stretch is a celebration of big feelings, brave kids, and the quiet power of a single deep breath. Perfect for ages 5-8. Includes a yoga pose guide and a calming breathing exercise in the back. Collect the books, the mats, and the whole Sage & Om world.
