Young graduate student Dylan Wakefield wants to save the world from petrochemicals and climate change. His professor, Kay Broward, has a plan. However, Dr. Kay's plan is far more direct and dangerous than anything Dylan could have imagined. Joining with ex-student Sid, who is an infamous "blackhat' known on the internet as 'Raster', and Sid's partner and singer Amelia 'Janis' Joplin, Dylan is ready to fight the power - delivering a bacterium code-named 'Sabot' directly into the petrochemical bloodstream, with dramatic results. Their efforts become a race against time, as the polar ice fields begin to collapse from global warming, threatening to raise sea levels worldwide before the team can shut down vulnerable coastal refineries. And 'Big Oil' wasn't going down without a fight!
