Roscoe

Roscoe lives on the streets of San Francisco, where he has become almost invisible-not because he is silent, but because the world has learned not to listen. He's one of those most of us choose not to see.Over the course of twelve hours, he guides us through his world with quiet honesty and unwavering clarity. As the city moves around him, ordinary encounters, passing conversations, and moments of unexpected humor reveal a life that is far richer and more complex than appearances suggest.Shaped by knowledge as much as hardship, Roscoe is an unlikely philosopher-observant, articulate, and quietly provocative. Through his eyes, San Francisco becomes more than a backdrop; it becomes a place where compassion and indifference exist side by side, and where the smallest human connection can carry profound meaning. As he moves through the city, chance encounters, fragments of conversation, and quiet moments of reflection gradually reveal a life shaped by loss, resilience, and hard-earned wisdom. Told in a distinctive first-person voice, ROSCOE is a literary novel in which voice is as central as story. Set in contemporary San Francisco, it offers an intimate portrait of a man whose intelligence and humanity challenge conventional perceptions, revealing a city-and one of its forgotten inhabitants-from an unexpected perspective.
