Rooted and Sent: Coaching Church Planters with the Gospel

"Who's shepherding your soul?" That whispered question in a Seattle coffee shop and the grief of two ministry tragedies exposed a deadly gap in how we develop leaders: we coach for skills while their hearts go unattended. Rooted and Sent closes that gap. Grounded in Paul's charge to "pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock" (Acts 20:28), this resource offers a complete, gospel-centered system for coaching the whole person behind the ministry-not just their performance. Pastors and church planters face staggering rates of burnout and isolation. This workbook equips coaches to lead planters away from a success-worshiping, performance-driven life and into the freedom of God's grace. You'll learn to: - Coach from the gospel-a story that transforms hearts, not just habits- Shepherd planters by knowing, feeding, leading, and protecting them- Build a Gospel Life Plan that begins with God's calling- Lead every session with the repeatable C.R.O.S.S. framework- Grow through live coaching, observation, and feedback >Every planter needs a coach. This book shows you how to become one.
