With images from the National Archives and a report from the U.S. Department of Justice, this work tells the story of the horrific Tulsa Massacre in May 1921, in a part of Tulsa, Oklahoma, known as "Black Wall Street." This was a story that was suppressed at all levels of government to protect the murderers. Survivors, their descendants, and the descendants of the thousands who were viciously massacred have kept this story alive for over one hundred years.
