Retornados 2. Mensajera / The Returned 2: Messenger

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION On Mars, catastrophe strikes again. In the wake of the tragedy at the Mars 3 colony, the Orpheus-1 rescue mission returns from the Red Planet shrouded in mystery: a charred capsule, a dying doctor, a botanist in a coma... and a truth no one is prepared to hear. At a military hospital in Rota, during a race-against-time, Nuria, a forensic psychologist, and Gastón, an engineer and father of one of the missing colonists, have only a few hours to record the account of Dr. Nolasco Almeida, the sole witness to what happened on that planet. What the doctor recounts is the chronicle of a failed mission, a bewildering map that poses an unavoidable question: what are we willing to sacrifice so that history does not erase us again? With the narrative drive that turned Caso 63 into a global phenomenon, Julio Rojas returns to the Retornados universe and expands it into even more unsettling territory: grief, uncertainty, and the simulation of reality. Now, the threat is on Earth.
