Activated carbon is a widely used material (water and air treatment, removal of heavy metals and dyes, purification of pharmaceuticals and food products, adsorption of intestinal gases, etc.). In our country, its use remains limited due to the high cost of importing it. This study focuses on the local production of activated carbon through the recycling of white wood sawdust. In this study, we examined the prepared activated carbon using experimental research methodology. The performance of the prepared activated carbon in wastewater treatment was tested against several pollutants, including BD, OR, and textile dyes.
