Receiving God's Love

Since the publication of Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations, thesefive practices have helped hundreds of congregations understand theirmission, renew ministries, and stretch toward fruitfulness andexcellence for the purpose of Christ. Now, each of the five practices has been broken out into 4-week small group studies called The Fruitful Living Series that provide an honest, practical, and winsome guide to the spiritual journey.In Receiving God's Love: The Practice of Radical Hospitality we learnthat our personal walk with Christ begins with an extraordinaryreceptivity to the grace of God. Within the congregation, hospitalityfocuses on inviting and making room for newcomers. In our personal walk,in distinctive ways, we first invite God into our hearts and make spacefor God in our lives. We receive God’s love and then offer it toothers.
