Queenies When The Glitter Fades

What happens when friendship, family, love, and personal expectations collide, and the glitter of celebration begins to fade? Queenies: When The Glitter Fades follows a close-knit group of women as they navigate the joys, pressures, secrets, and unexpected emotions surrounding a wedding. Set between Christmas and New Year's Eve in 2019, the story brings Regina, Brenda, Jade, Claire, Sharon, and Lauren together as they prepare for Jade's big day. For Jade, marriage represents a new beginning. For Brenda, motherhood and life after heartbreak have left her questioning who she is beyond being a mother. Regina is determined to build her career and live life on her own terms, challenging the traditional expectations of marriage and children. Filled with sisterhood, romance, family dynamics, humour, self-discovery, and heartfelt life lessons, Queenies: When The Glitter Fades is a story about embracing your own season, finding your voice, and discovering that every woman's journey unfolds in her own time.
