Program for Psychological Support of Athletes

This paper addresses the issue of improving the effectiveness of technical and psychological training for athletes, as well as conducting training sessions with athletes and various age groups. The paper presents methods for the psychological preparation of athletes for competitions, the improvement of technical skills, the prevention of psychophysical overload and nervous breakdowns, the development of psycho-emotional stability, the mobilization of the body for competitions, action planning, simulation of the competitive period, and the alleviation of neurotic reactions. The developed program allows for the selection of appropriate methods to address specific practical tasks, using each method individually or in various combinations.
