The proceedings of a conference which aimed to bring together specialists working on iterative solution methods, in particular preconditioning methods. Topics presented at the conference contained both original analysis and implementational aspects of preconditioned conjugate gradient methods. The motivation for this conference was the wish to bring together specialists working on iterative solution methods, in particular using preconditioning methods.
