Praying Around the World: Africa & the Middle EastWe feel comfortable praying for our own needs, for family, friends, the sick, or those in peril. But how do we pray for the nations? The nations are vast, their people varied. We know that we can pray about everything, but we may be at a loss as to how.The Praying Around the World series is designed to aid you and your family in praying for the nations. We provide nation-by-nation prayer requests, as well as unique facts about each nation to help familiarize you with them. Specific prayer requests focus on the church, gospel mission, government, and society. In this volume, Praying Around the World: Africa & the Middle East, you will be guided through the specific prayer needs of each nation and territory. Civil wars, droughts, famine, and political corruption have led to the suffering of many in these regions. Poverty, food insecurity, and displacement are common problems. In areas of growing Islamic dominance, confessing Christ publicly can mean a death sentence. Yet the gospel is spreading, and many are coming to faith in Jesus. Join with individuals and families across the church in praying that in Africa & the Middle East many hearts will turn to Jesus and that the church will be strengthened to remain faithful! Are you hoping to pray for the rest of the world?Check out the other volumes in this series: Praying Around the World: The Americas and the CaribbeanPraying Around the World: EuropePraying Around the World: Asia, Middle East, Australia, & Oceania
