Pog and Pickle's Great Escape

When a guinea pig sets off on a grand adventure to see the world, her fearful mate stows away in madcap pursuit in this hilarious, heartwarming tale from the team behind Ant Party and Penguin Huddle. Guinea pigs Pog and Pickle have spent their entire lives together in the same hutch. Pog is eager to get out and explore the world, but Pickle is scared. What if they get injured or lost out there? But Pog will not be dissuaded, and when the humans pack up for a trip to Peru, she takes her chance to sneak into their luggage and fly away. What can a lovelorn Pickle do but hop buses and planes and trucks to go after her? With a rhythmic, bouncy text and comical illustrations, Ross Montgomery and Sarah Warburton lead a wild journey that shows what wonders—including new friends and a playful capybara—may be found on the other side of fear.
