Poems for Midnight

What version of yourself are you tonight? The one who can't stop smiling? The one who can't stop crying? The one who lost someone and still texts them anyway? The one who feels nothing at all and can't remember when that started?Whichever one you are, there's a poem in here for you.Poems for Midnight moves through eight sections, from joy and connection through grief, darkness, and numbness, and out the other side into healing and acceptance. This collection is comprised of short poems in plain language about the things people carry and rarely say out loud. You'll find the person you'd have fallen for in any decade. Your dog's empty sunspot. The message that only ever gets one tick. The morning you woke up okay.Read it front to back, or open the section that matches how you feel right now.The first collection from UK writer Joe Arthurs, Poems for Midnight is for anyone who has ever saved their feelings for the dark.
